The Haliburton Highlands OPP has made an arrest in regards to a murder investigation.
Last year, David Palmer of Bowmanville went missing, and his body was found just north of the Village of Haliburton in May.
On Wednesday, the OPP arrested a Fenelon Falls man, William Savage, and charged him with first degree murder.
He will appear in Lindsay court today.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police say if someone finds a wallet, a Samsung Flip Phone, or a St. Louis Blues baseball hat to contact the OPP immediately.
Anyone with information is also being asked to call the OPP.
