November marks Adoption Awareness Month, and our local CAS is trying to bring attention towards the power of permanent connections.
The Kawartha-Haliburton-Children’s Aid Society wants to find stable and safe homes for kids in the care of the society.
The Regional Adoption Supervisor Heather Owens says there is a need for families who will help children in need of permanent homes.
Owens says people can help raise awareness by wearing an orange ribbon this month.
She says families can find information about children or youth who are in need of a home on its website.
