Like many organizations, the Dorset Heritage Museum is starting to plan its 150th celebration.
Next year is Canada’s birthday. The Dorset Rec Centre is hoping to join the museum for the 150th birthday, which would happen on or near Victoria Day.
The committee is in its early stages of planning the event still.
The Township of Algonquin Highlands has given the approval for the museum to apply for a grant. If approved, they will be using it to support its 2017 budget.
