A watt meter loan program is coming to Haliburton County to help residents monitor electricity usage of their household appliances.
This is a partnership between Haliburton Solar and Wind, the Haliburton County Public Library, and the Heat Bank.
Heat Bank Coordinator Tina Jackson explains what this program is.
Jackson says this is a great way for residents to better manage electricity costs.
She says people have to juggle between paying hydro, buying groceries and heating their homes.
