A lot of kids in Haliburton County will be able to go to summer camp next year.
The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is still counting the money raised from its annual Dream Ball. So far, they have passed last year’s donations by $25,000. The organization says they are still counting their final numbers but they have over $110,000 right now.
This event has sent over 3,000 local kids to summer camp in the last 21 years. The first Dream Ball happened in 1993.
