On Saturday the Joanne Sharpleys source for sports / Haliburton Family Medical Centre Highland Storm Peewees headed to Sunderland to face the Brock Wild.  The Wild were on the board first but it didn’t take the storm long to tie it up with the first of 2 from Hunter Winder, the Storm’s offence kicked into high gear with a hattrick from Dylan Keefer, Nick Phippen, Evan Armstrong and Zander Upton added singles in the 8-2 Storm victory

 

The Cottage Country Building Supplies/ Ridgewood Ford Highland Storm Atoms were in Mariposa Saturday to play the Lightning.  It was a back and forth affair with the Storm coming out on top of an 8-6 final. Storm goals by Austin Boylan who notched a hat trick, Addison Carr scored twice and singles came from Kadin Card, Aiden Perrott  and Cooper Coles. Meanwhile The Tom Prentice and Sons Tyke team had their first tournament of the season on Saturday at the Kawartha Coyotes Invitational. They won their first game but lost the second two.
