The Municipality of Minden Hills won’t be live-streaming council meetings anytime soon.
Property and Environmental Operations Manager Ivan Ingram says Bracebridge streams its council meetings on the internet and they are $160,000 into it. Ingram says it’s a good idea but there are a lot of big projects going on, and this would be another.
Reeve Brent Devolin says it’s a lot of money, and they have a lot of needs. Ingram suggests doing a public survey to see if residents would want to be able to stream council meetings online.
Devolin says the project will happen one day, but not this year.
