Some ideas to upgrade the Village of Haliburton are being pitched.
The Economic Development Committee is discussing the idea of making the entrance of the village, from Industrial Park, more of a park-like setting. The committee says there is private property through that area, but there is room for enhancements. They may also be asking for permission to cut into the bank by the old Fleming College site to make a safer and wider walking path next to the highway.
