Dysart et al thinks about online election voting

Dysart voters may be able to cast an online ballet in the next election. Deputy Reeve Andrea Roberts says online voting would save the municipality a lot of money on postage, and it’s a conversation council needs to have. However, Clerk Cheryl Coulson says the internet isn’t fast enough, and it could crash if everyone was voting online at the same time. Coulson says the cost of an election will never go down, it will only go up. Council is considering using $15,000 from its 2017 budget for next year’s municipal election.
