Early budget numbers are being discussed for Dysart et al. Residents could be seeing a 5.3 per cent tax increase this year. Reeve Murray Fearrey says that equals out to a $15 increase on a $100,000 home. For a $500,000 home, the tax increase will be $75. However, the budget talks are in the early stages, and those numbers could still change. The budget meetings will continue in Dysart next month.
