Dorset Park Will Still Get A Face-lift After A Rejected Grant

The Dorset Lions Club isn’t letting a rejected grant application stop upgrades to the Dorset Park. President Chris Keene says they now have to raise 55-thousand dollars to add a basketball half-court, a walking path, and a trail around the park. Keene says they’ll do these upgrades in phases over two years as the club works to raise 55-thousand dollars. He notes they will also be looking into other grant opportunities for next year which will go towards the basketball court. This is a legacy project in celebration of the Lions Club International’s 100th birthday.
