Haliburton’s Tourism Committee is hoping to boost tourism over the summer with new events. In order to do, Director Amanda Virtanen is asking council for $5,000. She says the money will partly go into planning Dysart’s 150th celebrations, as well promotions. More details on the different events are expected at council’s next budget meeting in February.
