NewsDorset’s Rec Centre wants to have a movie night for Canada’s 150th Birthday SHARE ON: Kaitlin Livingston, contributor, Thursday, Feb. 2nd, 2017The Dorset Recreation Committee wants to screen the film called Memories of Dorset, which was created by the Heritage Committee. The committee is asking Algonquin Highlands council for a hundred bucks to make it happen, which will towards things like food and drinks. The committee says if council approves the event, it will happen at the end of May in the rec centre. But, the committee still needs the green light from the township before they start promoting and planning the movie night.
