Freezing rain could be hitting the area tomorrow. Environment Canada is predicting snow and several hours of freezing rain, beginning at some point Tuesday and sticking around into Tuesday night. Environment Canada is tracking the weather system, and says at this point exact amounts and locations are unknown. However, dangerous driving conditions are expected. Right now all of Haliburton County is under a special weather statement, but that could be upgraded to a freezing rain warning as the weather system gets closer.
