Minden Hills’ Council Has A Decision To Make

Minden needs to make a quick decision on whether it will be tents or a gazebo at the museum. The cultural centre wants a spot to host special events over the summer, but needs to apply for some federal funding to make it happen. Originally, the plan was to get a gazebo, but Director of Community Services Mark Coleman says it would block the view of the heritage buildings. Coleman says buying two tents would be better, because they can be moved and are easier to store. Coleman will be at today’s council meeting to go over the issue and get approval to apply for the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund grant.
