The Haliburton Highlands OPP is lacing up their skates for a good cause. Officers are taking on grade eight students from the area to support the Push for Change.

The campaign has Joe Roberts is pushing a shopping cart across Canada to support the end of youth homelessness. He’s already walked over 5,300 kilometres, and has 3,700 more to go.

The OPP has already played one game against Wilberforce students, who won with a final score of 18-17. Three more games are left to help raise awareness, with the next one on March 1st against Archie Stouffer Elementary.
