Peterborough County OPP is reminding you police will continue to target impaired drivers by setting up RIDE checkpoints.
This comes after police caught a snowmobiler was arrested for drinking and driving after trying to evade a RIDE check set up on County Road 620 in North Kawartha Township on Saturday night.
The North Kawartha man was eventually caught.
The 22-year-old now faces a total of five charges, including impaired driving and failing to stop for police.
