An unnamed youth is facing second-degree murder charges in connection to a fatal fire at a youth facility in Kawartha Lakes. The OPP and Kawartha Lake Fire Department were called to the facility on Friday afternoon, where a fire had been sparked.
The blaze killed one person, but no details about the victim are being released. The police also aren’t giving any details about the accused, as they’re being charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
