An application to the feds has paid off for Algonquin Highlands. The Township had applied last year for a funding grant to build a new accessible playground at Stanhope Park.
The Department of Employment and Social Development has responded with a funding agreement for just over $43,000. The grant was given through the department’s Enabling Accessibility Fund.
