The fate of Lady Eaton Elementary School in Omemee may be sealed.
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board staff is still suggesting the school be closed next summer, with students being transferred to Scott Young Public School. Staff is also suggesting the board build a four classroom addition to Scott Young for Junior Kindergarten and room for a daycare.
The board is meeting one last time with parents to discuss this last staff report and get feedback on April 5th at the Lindsay Education Centre at 6:30pm.
Board members with TLDSB will be voting on the school closure through secret ballot during a meeting on April 25th.
