He said councilors have been working hard to fight the proposed OPP Billing Model.He also pointed out County treasurer Laura Janke has been instrumental in the process, going above and beyond.Residents have been requested to submit a letter to the Premiere’s office in opposition of the model. After submitting a request to MPAC, Janke is set to receive new data about the community to better determine a solution for the model.Council has announced May 1 as the Day of Action, asking residents to bombard the Minster of Community Safety and Correctional Services office and the Premiere’s office.
