While many health organizations report losses, the Haliburton Highlands Health Services has a surplus.

H.H.H.S. Treasurer David Gray says the surplus is just over $17,000 for last year.

Gray tells us how the H.H.H.S. was able to avoid being in the red.

The H.H.H.S. reported a loss of over $400,000 the previous year.

Gray mentions where the excess funds are likely to go.

Gray praises the H.H.H.S. staff for their great work in managing the organization’s finances.

He is thrilled that no services were cut or compromised.

Gray also praised H.H.H.S. CEO Carolyn Plummer and Chief Financial Officer Kathy Newton in keeping them on track.
