The Haliburton Highlands Outdoors Association’s marketing Vice President has a fundraiser in mind involving beer.
Rusty Rustenburg is pitching a beer to Sleemans called, Haliburton Gold, the same name of a trout species found only in our county.
Rustenburg says the H-H-O-A and fish hatchery is run by dedicated volunteers.
Rustenburg tells us where the name Haliburton Gold comes from.
He adds if the idea goes through, proceeds from beer sales would go towards the H.H.O.A.
