You have an opportunity to learn more about solar and wind energy this weekend.
Haliburton Solar and Wind is having their grand opening on Saturday at Abbey Gardens.
Founder Brian Nash says visitors can tour their demonstration centre, which is entirely powered by the sun and wind.
The aim of the grand opening is to teach the public about alternative forms of electricity.

There will also be three electric cars on site for visitors to test drive.
There will be toys for the kids to play with and live music as well according to Nash.
The grand opening runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
