The new Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce President wants to strengthen relationships with the community.
Richard Wannan was elected as the new President replacing Jerry Walker at their A.G.M.
Wannan says reaching out to service clubs like the Rotary and Kinsmen is important because one organization cannot advocate effectively alone.
He also talks about learning more about what businesses need from the chamber in terms of networking and education opportunities.

Wannan also praised Walker for his work the past year as president and says he has some big shoes to fill.
Wannan also works as a loan officer for the Haliburton County Development Corporation.
