The fine is $100 if you’re caught on municipal property without your dog leashed

People are still not leashing their dogs on Dysart’s municipal property.

This is according to Bylaw Officer Kristen Boylan, who warned residents last month to keep their dogs on a leash or face a fine.

Boylan says the bylaw was created to protect people, and other dogs.

Boylan adds the tennis court is not a dog run.

If you are caught on municipal property with an unleashed dog, the fine is $100.
