The Keith Tallman Memorial Arena in Wilberforce is getting a new roof.
Highlands East council voted to put a new steel roof on the arena at just under $120,000.
Council had originally budgeted $130,000 for the work.
Deputy Reeve Suzanne Partridge said construction could start later this month.
