The Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock M.P. was talking about issues he wants to bring forward at the fall sitting of parliament.
Schmale says he has spoken with many concerned landlords.
Schmale is also worried about the legal age to use pot being 18.

He has reviewed many medical reports that say the human brain is still developing until the age of 25.
Schmale thinks the law was proposed to help curb organized crime from selling the drug, but doesn’t think it will work.
If the legalization bill passes in the fall, it could be legal by next Canada Day.
