The M.P. for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock says the liberal government has been spending more than they promised.
Jamie Schmale says the liberals campaigned on running three deficits of 10 billion dollars before balancing the budget in 2019.
He says the government has gone well beyond that.
According to Finance Canada’s tracking report for the 2016-2017 fiscal year, the government ran a deficit of $21.8 billion.
Schmale  says job creation will be the top issue he wants to ask questions on when parliament resumes in the fall
