A therapeutic horse riding academy is now in Ingoldsby.
The Walkabout Farm Therapeutic Riding Academy is a not for profit organization that uses horses to help people with various disabilities.
Anne Caine is on the advisory council for the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association.
She says horses have helped children with speech disorders learn to speak.

Caine adds the environment can also be therapeutic.
Caine also says therapeutic horse riding is for people of all ages.
Caine points out that therapeutic horse riding is a stress free environment, mainly because the animals do not judge.
She also says humans and horses develop a special bond.
