Some of Haliburton County’s Reeves were in attendance for a conference call about the proposed OPP Billing Model.
Local Liberal Candidate for MPP, Rick Johnson organized the call with the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Yasir Naqvi.
According to Dysart Reeve Murray Fearrey, Naqvi told local politicians the model is still only a recommendation, and they will be taking an earnest look at it if they stay in power.
Fearrey says the reeves have sent a letter to the other party candidates to hear their plans against the model.
