President of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association, Eric DenOuden says the Ontario College of Trades system is getting in the way of the next generation gaining skills that are needed in Ontario. He says they would like to see a one to one apprenticeship ratio instead of the current three to one. DenOuden says the Association is working closely with the college to amend some of their apprenticeship policies.
