A musician from Haliburton has a record deal.
Seventeen-year-old Cassidy Glecoff earned the deal with the Cadence Music Group in Toronto after winning a competition in Ottawa.
Cassidy won the “She’s the One” competition at the Ottawa Bluesfest, which is for Canadian female musicians between 13 and 21 years old.
She will now work with the Cadence Music Group to produce a single that will be released worldwide.
Cassidy performed along with the band Northbourne at Rotary Park on Tuesday.
