Haliburton Highlands Health Services is having a free fall prevention course for seniors

Haliburton Highlands Health Services wants to help seniors prevent falls.

H.H.H.S. is hosting a falls prevention course at the Haliburton Hospital Tuesdays and Thursdays until October 19^th.

Community Outreach Coordinator Tina Kiiver says falls can cause seniors complications.

Kiiver says the free course will focus on strengthening exercises as well as education.

She adds broken bones take longer to heal as we age.
