Highlands East wants to realign Dyno Road but needs help from the province.
Reeve Dave Burton says the municipality plans to apply for a grant under the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
The fund was set up to help municipalities tackle community projects such as road repairs.
Realigning a road is doing work that will make the road less bumpy for drivers.
There is no word on when the municipality will hear if the grant application was successful.
