Despite the lack of speeding in the village of Minden, council approved a new speed limit for a few main roads. Water Street, Bobcaygeon Road, and Newcastle Street will change to 40 km/h zones. At the May 29 meeting, council also expressed their hope to eventually change the limit throughout the entire village.
