15 cottage owners on Bob Lake could have access to a boat launch.
Bob Lake resident Gerry Meade purchased a piece of land next to his property to use as a launch.
Meade said property owners used a launch on someone’s property, but the homeowner blocked access to the launch last year.
Meade says the property for the boat launch is flat land that is difficult to build on.
He says he decided to buy the land after talking to neighbours.
Meade says the boat launch would be available only to the 15 cottage owners involved in the agreement.
He says all parties involved agreed to some rules.
There is no word on when Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry would give approval.
