Highlands East is planning to repair Dyno Road but work may be put off until 2019.
The municipality applied for a grant under Ontario’s Community Infrastructure Fund to realign the road.
According to Roads Superintendent Earl Covert, the road is very uneven.
Covert says getting the grant would be the first of many steps towards successfully repairing the road.
Under the O.C.I.F. program, lower levels of government can apply for up to 90 per cent of funding towards infrastructure projects.
