A road in Algonquin Highlands could be down to one lane later this month.
That’s because the township is replacing a culvert on Dawson Road.
Operations Manager Mike Thomas says the work is scheduled to start on September 25th, but it depends on when the culvert is delivered.
Thomas adds the hope is to have Dawson Road fully re-opened by October 6th.
The work ended up coming in at around $7,000 over budget, but Mayor Carol Moffatt says there is enough money in the township’s reserves to cover the shortfall.
