You can dine with the M.P.P. for Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Brock while helping two food banks.
Laurie Scott will be the special guest at a lunch to raise money and food for the Wilberforce and Cardiff food banks on September 22nd.
The Highlands East Community Cooks will be cooking and serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the Lloyd Watson Community Centre in Wilberforce.
The food banks are looking for monetary donations and non-perishable food items.
The Highlands East Community Cooks is hosting the lunch in conjunction with Hunger Awareness Month.
