Minden Hills residents can expect another candidate for Deputy-Reeve this year. Retired paralegal, John Beattie announced he will be running in October’s election.
He says his experience negotiating as a paralegal will prepare him for the job. One of his goals is to break down the barrier between local residents and cottagers so Minden can grow.
Beattie says he won’t back down in dealing with issues that have been a concern to locals under the current council.
