O.E.S.P. kiosks available at various libraries this week

Four information sessions for families struggling with paying energy bills are coming up county wide.

The Ontario Electricity Support Program will have kiosks at various libraries in the county and the Haliburton Heat Bank will be on hand to answer any questions.

Heat Bank Program Coordinator Tina Jackson says the O.E.S.P. offers credits on hydro bills to households in need.

Jackson also says credits can be anywhere from $35 to $75 a month.

The kiosks will be at the library in the Village of Haliburton on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and at the Minden Hills library from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

There will be two more sessions on Wednesday.

One will be at the Gooderham library from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the other will be at the Cardiff library from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening.
