Officials are reminding parents to have your child’s eyes checked regularly

If your child is having trouble at school it might be time for an eye exam.
The Ontario Association of Optometrists says because 80 per cent of learning is visual, sight problems can cause major issues for your young student in the classroom. If your kid is constantly rubbing their eyes, rarely makes eye contact or seems accident prone it might be time to make an appointment with the doctor. OHIP covers all optometrist and doctor visits for anyone under 20.
