The Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation is thanking the community for a great year.
The foundation learned at its annual general meeting that it received over $925,000 in donations this past year.
The foundation had some big fundraisers this past year including the Matt Duchene Charity Golf Classic, which brought in over $53,000.
The Moose FM Radiothon in August raised approximately $24,000.
Foundation Executive Director Lisa Tompkins says money raised will help the hospitals in Minden Hills and Haliburton to purchase a new portable ultrasound as well as bone densitometry equipment.
