A hockey festival will be taking over Downtown Haliburton and Head Lake Park this weekend.

Hometown Hockey comes to Haliburton for its second broadcast of the season.

There will be activities on Saturday and Sunday for the whole family including a hockey circus show, and a ball hockey rink.

Fans will also have a chance to rub elbows with former county N.H.L. players such as Bernie Nicholls and Cody Hodgson.

The action will be from noon to 6:00 p.m. in Head Lake Park on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Hometown Hockey game features the Vegas Golden Knights visiting the Boston Bruins starting at 6:30 p.m.
