Dysart et al latest Haliburton County municipality to consider title change for head of council

Another municipality in Haliburton County will enter the mayor discussion.

At its monthly meeting, Dysart et al council will discuss the possibility of changing the head of council’s title from reeve to mayor.

Algonquin Highlands changed its head of council’s title from reeve to mayor in July.

Councils in Minden Hills and Highlands East are currently similar changes as well.

The meeting starts Monday morning at 9:00 at the Dysart municipal office.
