Health Services re-opens survey on rural health hub

Haliburton Highlands Health Services wants more input from the community.

H.H.H.S. said at a recent board meeting it would re-open a survey asking the public what they want from a rural health hub.

President and C.E.O. Carolyn Plummer says health services received over 200 completed surveys from when it was open earlier this month.

Plummer says after this round of survey’s, H.H.H.S. will then analyze the results and have focus groups.

Haliburton was chosen as one of five rural health hubs in Ontario by the Ministry of Health and long-term care.
