Police remind drivers to get snow tires on before the roads get slippery

The OPP is reminding motorists to make sure they have snow tires ahead of the winter season.

Constable Catherine Yarmel says that winter tires are proven to work in tough conditions.

Yarmel says most insurance companies offer a five per cent discount to car owners who have four properly marked winter tires on their vehicle.
