The local health unit is continuing with recreation initiatives across the county. Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Lynn Noseworthy told the health unit’s Board of Directors that a lot of work continues to promote policies and funding to increase access to recreation opportunities. A number of initiatives in Haliburton County over the past ten years have increased physical activity and recreation to all residents.
