The baseball diamond shelter at the Minden Fairgrounds will be getting a new name.
Township council decided to rename it the Ryerson Memorial Ball Shelter.
Mayor Brent Devolin says it is the same group involved with the university in Toronto.
The Ryerson Memorial Ball Tournament has become a summer tradition in Minden and Devolin says council felt this was a great way to honour that legacy.
